The Frankenstein-to-AI parallel is actually really apt. Both involve assembling sophisticated systems from component parts, then grappling with unexpected emergent behaviors. The point about LLMs as brains needing physical embodiment mirrors how del Toro's creature wasn't just intelligent but needed physical form to fully exist. We're basicaly at that bridging moment right now with robotics catching up to cognition.
